Yes, buildings like temple or spiritual healer do have a range, it's the blue-ish circle around them, when palcing them down. Houses in their range also get a blue frame. You also can check a house, when clicking on it, you see in the info panel what desires for that house are met or not.
Greenery is a great thing to increase comfort, as they are easy to place and clump together endlessly. When pressing Y during placing down – or was it Z? not sure, you see it the description when placing down – you can switch between different layouts or a greenery field, that way one can beautify the kingdom more.
I'm not sure if you build the second farm intentionally, as they clump together you could just have added the fields to the existing farm.
As for wonders: in each biome you found 1 piece for each item, and yes, you have to scan the ground for these tiles 😀
